The 'songs' were composed largely spontaneously on the basis of a system that uses a set of 4 cards drawn at random from a deck of cards - the specific deck we used included photos of martial arts positions with colourful names and the explanation on the pack informed us that it was "Same as Gongfu". The band name comes from the poem of the same name by, e.e. cummings:
