Lachan Simpson Oooffff! Straight into the drum machine for a radical new electro sound. The move from improv jazz guitar to a more trip hop sound is going to upset hardcore Cevolatti fans, but will reward those with broader appreciations. Recommended.

about

This music is for doing things in a state of ‘flow’; embodied, embedded and distributed with connected to Ancestors, Country and Culture, respecting yourself, environment and others.

The “Dual Process”: All tracks are a single take using a guitar with a two-channel looper controlled by a drum machine, with ‘basslines’ in the first channel and evolving soundscape in the second, recorded as two tracks (loops and drums) and then edited to taste for two-channel stereo.

Recorded with respect to the Djarra People on Dja Dja Wurrung Country
